Generally, I try to limit the amount that I give out my personal e-mail address to retailers. A couple of months ago I noticed just how quickly my inbox would fill up if I didn’t check it for a couple of days when I went away on vacation and decided from then on out to stop (or at least try to stop) giving out my e-mail address. I then heard a wonderful piece of advice from a friend who frequently online shops and was facing a similar problem.
