Within this week’s Air Canada deals, you can buy one-way fares for as little as $133 for flights within Canada. While they were advertising the lowest one-way fare for trips to Ottawa from Toronto being $140, I was actually able to find a roundtrip ticket for just $230.80. This would make each way cost as little as $115, which is $15 cheaper than the advertised lowest fare.

About a month ago now, we introduced you to Apple’s recent innovation in wearable technology, the Apple Watch. Gap Canada has brought their spring sale online, as it already began in-stores a couple of days ago, but now us online shoppers can take advantage of the deals that have discounts going up to 50% off.

What I really liked about Gap’s set up during this sale, is that they give you the option to actually shop the sale by size as opposed to style, as we all know there’s nothing worse than finding a cute top or pair of pants at an even more enticing price, only to discover that they’re no longer available in your size. While shopping through the sale, I was quickly and easily able to navigate between the pieces that I liked and were available in my size, like this floral roll-sleeve popover which is currently on sale for just $43.99, in the yellow, and $34.99, in the red (was $59.95).

There are still a decent number of sizes available in this men’s wool baseball jacket, with the medium being the only size that is sold out, which isn’t too surprising as that is the most popular style and this jacket is one sale for an amazing price of just $39.99 (regularly $108). West Jet Canada is having a sale for the next few days where you can save on one-way fares within Canada, in a sale that they are calling their ‘great takeoffs and landings across Canada’ sale. The routes are all generally long-haul routes, and start as low as $261.58. For instance, you can travel from Calgary to Hamilton, Ontario for just $261.58 in this sale, should you book within the promotional dates and on the specified days of the week.

In fact, while searching for fares during this Canadian seat sale with West Jet I was actually able to find one-way fares from Calgary to Hamilton for cheaper than $261.58, as I found a roundtrip ticket for just $486.31. With this being the roundtrip fare, each fare would work out to costing just $243.15, which is $18.43 cheaper than the lowest advertised fare.

The only restrictions on this sale is that you must book before April 16th at 11:59pm MT and travel until June 24th, 2015. You will also have to travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays and there are a limited number of seats available at the discounted rate so even then you may not be able to get the lowest advertised fare if you are travelling on those days. I’d suggest booking early, so that you can find fares like the one I found on my Calgary-Hamilton trip, which actually ended up being cheaper than the advertised fare.

VIA Rail Canada has decided to, once again, extend the length of their discount Tuesdays special offer, which usually runs until midnight on each Tuesday, but will now run until Wednesday, April 15th at 11:59pm EST. In this deal, as is standard for VIA Rail, you will be able to save on select Sleeper and Economy class routes, with the final travel date for Economy class travel being on May 15th, 2015 (inclusive). Sleeper class routes will have to book their travel for between now and May 22nd (inclusive).
