I’ve noticed that this year it has been more difficult than in past years to score a really great deal on bathroom tissue, and one of the first rules of couponing is that you should never pay much for toilet paper! Here is a great price on Royale Velour this week at Walmart Canada if you combine this sale with the right coupons.

Until October the 7th, Walmart Canada has the 24=48 roll package of Royale Velour on sale for $7.48. In the last edition of the SmartSource coupon insert, which you likely received with your flyer bundle a little while back, there is a coupon for $2 off any Royale bathroom tissue 40 rolls or greater. Use this coupon and pay just $5.48 for the package. Being that it equals 48 rolls and is $5.48 after the coupon, this is like paying $2.74 for 24 rolls, which is a really good price considering the 24 roll size doesn’t even go on sale for $3.99 very often these days!

If you missed out on Shoppers Drug Mart Canada‘s 20x the Optimum Points event last weekend, there’s no need to worry, as it seems they are once again offering 20x the Optimum points on purchases  October 3-4 in store. As with last week, this week’s offer takes advantage of the new Shoppers Drug Mart phone app which allows you to load targeted coupons directly to your Optimum card.

To get your digital coupon for 20x the Optimum points, just follow these steps:

1. Log in or create an account with the new Shoppers App & Digital Card (available on the App Store and on Google Play) OR log into your account online.
2. Once you log in, the coupon should be visible on the bottom of the home screen for the app. Click on it and select “Load to Card”. It will then load the coupon to your card
3. Show your card when shopping in store to get your bonus points

While everyone with an Optimum card should be able to get this coupon, the minimum spend amount in order to get 20x the points will vary from person to person. Last week, a few people I know had a bit of difficultly finding the coupon online, so I’d suggest using the app to make things easier. The new app has just about everything you need to get shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart! You can view your current Optimum Points, load coupons, view current flyers and even make a shopping list. It’s really convenient!

If you’re not sure what to purchase in order to reach your minimum spend level for 20x the Optimum points, highlights in this week’s Shoppers Drug Mart flyer include:

• $2.49 for Coca-Cola and Pepsi 6x 710ml (October 4-5 only)
• $1.88 for Lays Chips (October 4-5 only)

Flyer deals run from  October 3, 2015 to  October 8, 2015 with the exception of 2 day deals which are on October 4-5, 2015 only. The Optimum bonus offer is valid October 3-4, 2015 only and usually excludes purchases of prescriptions, stamps, transit and other non-pointable items. The WebSaver.ca mail to home coupon for $1 off Catelli Smart Pasta may no longer be available, but if you are still looking for high value pasta coupons, there is still this coupon. Save $1 on the purchase of Catelli Ancient Grains pasta with this printable coupon.

Catelli Ancient Grains pasta does not seem to go on sale for $1 quite as often as the Smart pasta variety does. but if you are patient and wait for the right sale you can still get free pasta with this coupon. You may print one coupon per account, but there is no limit to prints per computer. If you have friends and family who won’t use the coupon, that means you can log in to their accounts from your computer and print their copy of the coupon as well, if they let you of course.

Since the $1 coupon for the Smart pasta disappeared recently, I would be sure to print this one while you can if you think it would be of use to you.
