While we don’t yet have a look at the upcoming Shoppers Drug Mart Canada flyer, we can give you the heads up on the promo for this weekend. Couponlady has posted on our forum that one day only, Saturday, July the 18th, 2015, you will receive 20x the Optimum points when you spend $50 or more on anything in the store!

Since the Optimum offers have gone digital, these weekend promos such as 20x the points or 18,500 when you spend $75 have become much less frequent. If you have been waiting for a 20x the points event you may want to take advantage of it this weekend.

Another thing to keep in mind, is that since going digital, there some to have been some discrepancies within the system. Whereas before, using manufacturer coupons to bring down your total out of pocket, while still being able to get 20x the points on the full amount before coupons worked without fail, some of our members have mentioned not receiving the points when less than $50 was spent out of pocket. Just something to keep in mind, because while points should most certainly be awarded even when coupons are used, unless you spend $50 out of pocket, you may have to get on the phone with customer service for your points.
