Montana’s BBQ and Bar Canada has a coupon on right now that will be available for quite the lengthy time period, as it does not expire until March 15th, and since you only have to show the coupon on your smart phone, you can use it as many times as you like between now and then. Looks like a decent insert for RedPlum, lots of coupons.  Walmart sells Swiss Natural products starting at $5.96 regular prices, so there is definitely some good deals or freebies with that one coming up if it has a longer expiry date.  Mail in rebates are great to use on 20x Optimum days at Shoppers Drug Mart to earn points with less money out of pocket.

It looks like the Toonies for Tummies tearpad coupons we used to see in stores will not be returning this year, but you can get a coupon booklet with $11.25 in coupons when you donate a toonie at participating stores.

100% of the monies raised from the Toonies for Tummies campaign will be donated back to local programs and they hope to raise $1,000,000 in 2015 to give to breakfast and nutrition programs across Canada.  The monies raised at each store will be spent in your community too, you can see a list of participating stores or the groups supported by visiting Toonies for Tummies here.

For those of you waiting for Target’s liquidation sales, you do not have long to wait!  While Target have chosen a liquidator (awaiting court approval), leaked memos show that they expect huge sales to start this Thursday – even if the liquidator has not been approved at that time.

The memos state “we expect Thursday sales to double compared to a normal Thursday” and “Thursday will be like Black Friday“.  Some of this is likely due to the news breaking that the liquidation has started, we have all seen the pictures from people who have recently visited Target for the first time looking for sales after the news broke even though the liquidator had not yet been appointed.  However, some will also be due to the actual sales.  The memo also says that they will start marketing the sales soon, even though they have previously said that no more flyers will be printed.

A forum member who works at Target also mentioned that many stores are getting trucks of new items, including the plus size clothing that was promised last year and spring lines – and it will go on sale too!

If you visit Target on Thursday or later, be sure to let us know what bargains you pick up!

Menswear at the Hudson’s Bay Canada is currently receiving some awesome discounts, particularly within the Hudson’s Bay’s collection of Topman where select jackets have been marked down to below $20.
