Alexander Wang, the American designer who made a name for himself at the fall 2008 fashions shows as the urban designer of his generation, has launched a collaborative line with H&M Canada for both city men and women. The line’s spectrum ranges from the less practical futuristic pieces, like the bold platform leather boots ($299), to pieces that could be described as everyday athleticism, such as the black knit chino trousers (only $99).
H&M’s previous collaborations have historically proven to be quite successful, gaining names from designers like Stella McCartney in the fall of 2005 and, most recently, in 2013 with Isabel Marant. The collaborations, such as the current Alexander Wang campaign, stand as a testament to H&M’s dedication to delivering fashionable clothes at affordable prices for everyone.
With the current line from H&M and Alexander Wang, fashionable folk who idolize the American designer’s collections on the runway (but don’t necessarily want to sell a kidney to finance it) can now take a piece of his designs home guilt-free and organs-intact.
