The Google Play Store is offering a number of popular hits from 2014 for free. This is a great deal since each single currently costs around $1.29 on iTunes. It is nice that the free songs on Google Play Store are well known by Canadians since music freebies tend to be unfamiliar songs.

• Royals – Lorde
• Sky Full of Stars – Coldplay
• Let Your Hair Down – MAGIC!
• Get Lucky – Daft Punk feat. Pharrell
• Ain’t Fun – Paramore
• American Kids – Kenny Chesney
• Timber – Pitbull ft. Ke$ha
• Delirious (Boneless) – Steve Aoki
• Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff – Deadmau5
• Not a Bad Thing – Justin Timberlake
• Problem – Ariana Grande
• Wrecking Ball- Miley Cyrus

A Google Play Account will be needed to access the downloads through a Mac or PC. It is required that you enter a payment method but you will not be charged since the downloads are free.

An android phone or tablet will require the Google Play app but songs must be searched individually as they are not listed together on the app.

There is no date listed for when these songs will become unavailable so get them as soon as possible before they’re gone.

Clarins Canada has a sweet little January cheer up for your dry, winter skin blues where when you purchase any product from Clarins Canada online, no minimum spend amount required, you will receive 5 FREE samples of your choice from the specified selection. There is no code required for these samples either, all you have to do is add something to your cart and then upon checkout you will be prompted to add the 5 qualifying samples of your choosing.

Initially my goal was to add $75 worth of product to my cart so that I qualified for free-shipping, but since the standard shipping rate before $75 is just $7 I opted to find the most modestly priced beauty or skin care product that was still relevant to my needs. For me, I found the UV PLUS HP Day Screen High Protection Emulsion SPF 40 to be just the product I needed since it was just $41 and would provide day long protection from the sun that I could still wear under my makeup without the gross oily feeling. It’s important to protect your skin from UV rays year round, and a lot of times people forget that the sun can still penetrate your skin when temperatures drop well below zero.

Once I added this product to my cart, I was able to qualify for the 5 free samples, of which there are many ways to customize to your own specific needs. Depending on the product, you could receive a sample of either 5ml, 0.17 fl. oz., or 0.07 fl. oz.

This freebie offer from Clarins will only be available to Canadian shoppers and will end on January 9th, 2015.

New Year at Hush Puppies Canada means they must clear out all old stock, and to do so they are offering a promo code offer on all outlet styles where when you enter, HPNEWYEAR50, at checkout you will receive an additional 50% off. On top of this great savings offer, you will also be able to qualify for free-shipping, meaning you can spend as little as you wish without the fear of being docked an extra $20 at the checkout!

The extra savings promo code at Hush Puppies will only be available until January 13th, meaning you can pick up hot items like these Flossie Chaste suede studded flats for just $39.99-though their previous retail value was $100!

Shipping and handling is normally about $9, and there are lots of sizes left in the outlet along with some pretty good styles to choose from that would be appropriate for both the winter and (soon!) spring.

This coupon mailer from Burger King Canada is giving you the chance until February 22nd to get a 10-piece of Chicken Nuggets, plus your choice of 2 sauces, for just $1.79. That means that each individual chicken nugget will only cost you $0.17! It may sound insane for food to be this cheap, but at this price you really can’t complain.

This offer from Burger King is probably an attempt to compete with McDonald’s Canada’s current coupon offers, and let’s just say in terms of Chicken Nuggets this is probably the best deal going on right now.

This is an interesting offer from Costco Canada, where you can literally buy an entire pallet of Lucky Charms Snack Bars for $720 off the original wholesale price of $2,999.99, now just $2,279.99. Since you will be receiving 360 units of these marshmallowy, 100 calorie, snack sized bars that means that each individual bar will work out to only costing you $0.26.

Of course this deal will not be for EVERYONE, as very few would be able to go through 8,640 bars (there are 24 bars per box) in a foreseeable amount of time. However, if you’re having any kind of fundraiser, fun-run, or event that requires a large amount of snacks for a low cost then this deal may be one that you would be wise to invest in.

Costco will only be offering this on orders placed between January 2nd-January 18th, 2015 and they will also offer free-shipping since it has already been calculated into the price.

I know most of you are probably viewing this post and thinking, how on earth could there be anything more to post about Christmas at this time of year!? But hear me out before you completely shut me down, as there really are some good deals to be found here in the Walmart Canada Christmas Clearance sale.

I know personally with our own tree experiences at home with our natural trees, though they were fresh smelling and more authentic looking, come Christmas morning there were some saddened faces when we looked up to discover that half the tree was sunk in due to floppy branches; for some reason this year’s tree just didn’t hold up as well as the previous ones. Plus with the clean up of all the needles at the end of the season, the natural tree seemed to be more hassle than it was worth. Which is why our family agreed that not only would it make sense to get a fake tree for next year, but it would make even more sense to get one now since they will be on sale. At Walmart (for the most part), Christmas trees are up to 50% off, with a 7.5 ft. Kennedy white tree with Christmas lights being just $99.50 (was $199).

Even twinkle lights, that never seem to last for more than a season, are on sale at Walmart for just $4.50 when you get a set of 50 mini clear lights. What’s also great about getting these lights now, especially the clear ones, is that they can be used for more than just the Christmas season as they also look quite nice in the  summer time on your back deck.

You can also pick up sets of shatterproof 9-piece ornaments for just $8 and a 150-piece garland set for just $6 (was $12). Plus, though all these items are so cheap, you additionally won’t have to worry about shipping since it is free no matter what at Walmart.

M&M Meat Shops Canada is giving away a coupon on their Facebook page where you can save $3 off the regular price of their frozen product Shrimp Rangoons. This offer will only be available until January 7th and to claim it you will have to go to the Facebook page and click ‘get offer’ after which an e-mail will be sent to your address that you use for Facebook (don’t worry, they won’t share any of your information!).

Once you’ve received your e-mail from M&M Meat Shops you will have a coupon in your e-mail that you have the choice to either print-out and present when paying, or to show on your mobile device. There will be a limit of 2 Shrimp Rangoons per customer, and the discount will only be applied to the person’s name listed in the e-mail. Since Shrimp Rangoons normally cost you $11.99, with the savings coupon you could pay only $17.98 for $23.98 worth of M&M Meat product!

Need your 2014 holiday memories preserved, or better yet, need to clear out those old pictures from your spring graduation? Then now would never be a better time to get those pesky digital copies converted into hard copy print outs as Costco’s Photo Centre will only be charging $0.10 per 4×6 picture!

The process for uploading your pictures is very simple, just head on over to Costco’s photo centre’s online portal and begin uploading your pictures via Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, OneDrive, Dropbox, or Gdrive; though OneDrive and GDrive will probably be the fastest. I’d also suggest avoiding doing this in-store as it can be a tedious process and you may not wish to stand around waiting for your pictures to upload, plus there is a maximum of 1000 pictures when you printout in-store.

Contrary to what you may assume, you do not have to be a member to use the Costco Photo Centre, however if you aren’t a member you will have to use a Costco gift card to pay for your order.

Happening online this week at Chapters Indigo Canada are a multitude of deals and sales that will only be available for a limited time and exclusively be available to online shoppers.

The first set of deals that would be of interest to anyone looking to take up a language as part of their resolutions this year for 2015, is the 45% off being offered on Rosetta Stone Levels 1-3 and Levels 1-5. These language teaching packages come in a variety of levels to progress with you along your journey to becoming fluent in another language no matter your starting proficiency in said language. The Rosetta Stone package comes in two different packaging levels, 1-3 or 1-5, with the first package costing you just $219.45 (normally $399) or for the larger package just $274.45 (normally $499). The sale on these language sets will be available at Indigo Chapters until January 11th and will also qualify for the free-shipping offer.

If you’re looking for a way to recharge your mind after a sluggish holiday break, but aren’t feeling zealous enough to take up a new language, then the 20% off on puzzles and games at Indigo would probably fit your bill. The sale on the puzzles and games is applied to all of the products in this section with the games ranging in difficulty from the very simple and interactive, such as Twister, to the more strategic and mature, such as Catan: Ancient Egypt Edition. This sale will be wrapping up at Indigo the day after the Rosetta Stone sale, on January 12th.

And if your New Year’s resolution for 2015 was to kick yourself in to high gear with your workout regime, then the sale on select workout dvd’s at Chapters Indigo is right up your alley. Some of my personal preferences for workout dvd’s in this sale, that I highly recommend for every level of fitness, are the Jillian Michaels workout fitness dvd’s. In these dvd’s, she offers three different levels of workout intensity, plus includes modifications within each of these workouts so that no matter your level (beginner through till expert) you’re always being challenged. This sale will only be on while qualities last (I’d suggest checking out No More Trouble Zones, now only $7.99!)

Most of these deals will only be hanging around for this week, and remember since they are all exclusively being offered online, that free-shipping will only be included should exceed an order of $25.
