I am so glad I am the type of person to wait till the very last minute before I throw a coupon out. I had 4 coupons for Kraft Philadelphia Dips that expired July 24th that I got form save.ca. I was holding out for a sale and thought it would never come till I was visiting family yesterday. I have no Price Chopper in my area so decided to have a peek at there sale flyer only to find the dips on 2 for $3. The store was on my way back to the camp ground I was staying in so I was able to use all 4 coupons on the day they expired and get the dips for just $0.50 each. I tried to find a link for the coupon to post but it must be gone from save.ca now. Sure hope you can find a Preice Chopper near you before these great coupons expire on you. This sale is on till July 29th.

Yes, it’s true. Once upon a time we were all children. Back in the day movies seemed so much better then they do today. Movies such as Labyrinth, Never Ending Story, The Goonies,  Lady In White, (ok so not a kids movie but my parents were lenient on ratings) Pete’s Dragon, Secret of the Nihm, Little Shop of Horror’s, Ghost Busters, Beetlejuice, National lampoons, Animal House, Crocodile Dundee,   I could go on forever. 

I think my favourite back then and still today is The Last Unicorn.  I remember watching it a few years ago and I bawled my eyes out. I never realized how “deep” it was.  As for “grown up” movies my pick has to be Caddy Shack! Seriously, who can forget the chocolate bar in the pool scare!

Some of my classics I’ve tried to watch with my children and they thought they were so lame. They dissed The Sword In the Stone. I never thought I’d hear someone diss that classic.  My oldest couldn’t even sit through Never Ending Story! Are you kidding me. He thought it was boring.

What were your favourite movies when you were a child? Do you still watch them today? I look forward to your  look back at memory lane.

Oh and Ps. I loved Howard the Duck as well. Also loved Cannibal women in the avacado jungle of death < I cannot BELIEVE my mother let me watch that! It starred Shannnon Tweed!
