This is a fantastic deal for all of you out there with babies and toddlers in diapers.  From February 13-19 you will get a $10 Diaper Card when you spend $40 on baby products at Shoppers Drug Mart.   Coupled with a good sale (and a coupon, of course) an extra $10 off a pack of diapers would be awesome.  There are some really good deals on baby products Sunday and Monday (Feb 14 & 15) so that may be the best time to get your $10 diaper card.

Just go to a participating Cineplex Entertainment theatre location with your SCENE card, present your SCENE card and get FREE tickets for you and a friend (max 2 tickets per member). SCENE asked its members to vote on what their favourite movie to see would be last year, and “The Hangover” was the one chosen, that’s why it’s the movie that is being shown. This movie has been out of some time, but it’s really good and funny, I recommend it, plus it has the sexy Bradley Cooper in it, and who doesn’t love that? 🙂

For those in Quebec, SCENE members get a free viewing of “Star Trek” and two free popcorn instead. This event takes place on Wednesday, February 10 at 7PM as well. There is an error on the site and above the theatre listings it actually says “Star Trek” screening, but “Star Trek” is for Quebec only and everyone else gets “The Hangover”.

Blockbuster is turning 20! To celebrate they are offering coupons, just stop by your local Blockbuster location and pick some up, they are available while quantities last, until February 14th. I am not sure what the coupons are, if anyone does go, please drop us a line about what you get!

This one is for all the animal lovers. Walmart and the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) have joined together for a great cause and are offering free wristbands to their supporters. The bracelet is cute and is a nice way to show that you care about animal rights.

Please read the short stories at the bottom of the page, it really shows how serious animal cruelty is and frankly brings tears to my eyes and makes me very angry that there are such horrible people out there. There is also information there on how to become as ASPCA member and donate.
