This one is for all the animal lovers. Walmart and the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) have joined together for a great cause and are offering free wristbands to their supporters. The bracelet is cute and is a nice way to show that you care about animal rights.
Please read the short stories at the bottom of the page, it really shows how serious animal cruelty is and frankly brings tears to my eyes and makes me very angry that there are such horrible people out there. There is also information there on how to become as ASPCA member and donate.

Thank you for ordering a free wristband! You will receive your gift in 6 to 8 weeks.
Thanks!
I wonder how this helps animals in Canada.
thanx soooooo much love animals can’t even finish some stores makes me so sick that people are so mean to animals I donate to SPCA all the time
It would be nice if raised awareness for our animals instead since it’s Walmart CANADA….
It really doesn’t matter the location though – animal cruelty should be stopped no matter where it takes place. But then again, the people who commit these sort of acts must be psychopaths and they are a danger to society. Poor animals, and such despicable people.
I agree… you don’t tell people to stop donating to help build houses in Haiti just because there are still homeless people in Canada, right? There are tons of Canadian animal rescues and shelters, ranging from national to local ones. If you’re so inclined, donate your money or time to them, don’t complain when someone else is trying to do something good, just because we as a nation like to make everything into a Canada vs. USA battle.
If Walmart really cared about animals, it would stop selling Iams, whose owner P&G tests on animals (http://www.iamscruelty.com/), and stop selling shit food like Pedigree and Purina.
@carl – thanks for the comment. 😉
