– Startech 3-Port USB 2.0 Hub and 16-in-1 Memory Card Reader for $40 $19
– Griffin iTrip Auto Universal Plus FM Transmitter and PowerJolt Auto Charger for $59 $29
– Dell Colour Laser Printer 3010cn for $429 $299
The memory card reader is an ok deal. If you have different card technologies that you need to easily read from your PC then go for it.
The Griffin iTrip is a good deal for iPod owners (or any other mp3 players that lack an FM tuner). It’ll provide an FM Transmitter.
$299 for a colour laser printer is acceptable but why would you want to spend that much on a printer anyhow?

– E197FP 19 Inch Flat Panel Monitor, 19.0 Inch Viewable Image Size for $249 $192
– Kensington Softguard Carrying Case Bundle with Cable Lock and PocketMouse LE for $99 $39
– SurgeMaster Gold 9-Outlet Surge Protector for $39 $19
Today’s deals are fair. All 3 items are at very reasonable prices. If you need any of these go ahead, otherwise don’t waste your money.
The 19 inch monitor is a bit too small now and you can get many 19 inch monitors for that price. I’m glad I bought the 22 inch wide screen monitor for $299 on the second day of Dell deals. It turned out great and the screen size is perfect. The 19 inch is a bit too small.
The Kensington Softguard Carrying Case is reasonably priced, but from my personal experience, backpacks are waaaaay more comfortable than these carrying cases.
For $19, the Surge Protector is a pretty good deal since you can’t get these prices at Canadian Tire or any electronics store. My Dad bought a very regular power bar for about the same price from Canadian Tire (he should visit SmartCanucks more often ). This is definetely a very reasonable price.

Different “Get a Mac†ads have just started airing in the UK.
Here’s one of the British ads:

Here’s the US version of the same ad:

I like the US ads and characters more.

It’s Monday and Dell’s days of deals continue…
Today’s deals aren’t that exciting:
– Iomega Silver Series 250GB 7200RPM External USB Hard Drive for $159 $89
– Freedom Freestor Mini 210 2.5″ External USB Hard Drive Enclosure for $49 $29
– Seagate 750GB SATA 3GB 7200 RPM-16MB CACHE 7200.10 for $549 $349
Unless you desperately need a new hard drive I wouldn’t bother with today’s deals. The only good deal here is the Seagate 750GB but I wouldn’t be surprised if $349 becomes its regular price in a couple of months.
