You can now get the 2008 version of the 25-cent Poppy Circulation Coin at Shoppers Drug Mart. This has to be one of the few motivations left to use cash; at least during your next purchase at Shoppers Drug Mart. Or you can just ask for a couple of bucks cash back in 25-cent poppy coin format 😛

Update: turns out it’s 40% off Christmas trees. Sears sucks.
Sears Canada is currently having 7 Days of Deals. Today is day 4 of their deal days and the deals so far have been horrible. The deals ranged from 10% discount on Men’s dresswear to 20% off luggage; nothing impressive and therefore I didn’t blog about them to avoid wasting your time.
However! It seems like on Saturday November 1st, 2008, (starting at midnight) Sears Canada is having some sort of special one day 40% surprise online! I’m not sure what the deal is exactly so we’ll have to wait and find out! How did I find out that something special will be offered this Saturday you ask? Let’s say I’m very observant 😀 The bonus offer code they had each day is sequential: 941612880, 941612881, … So what I did is I entered Saturday’s code 941612882 and on checkout it says “40% OFF, ONE DAY SURPRISE“! I don’t know what this means but it’ll be a sizzling hot deal if it’s 40% off everything on Sears.ca! We’ll find out tonight!
Make sure you catch the deal as soon as it’s on Sears Canada’s website because if it’s a good deal, it’ll be gone in no time 😉

Rogers are giving out free $10 Gift cards as a trick or treat to select customers. I don’t know why they chose select customers only and it’s totally not fair to their other loyal customers 🙁
Anyhow, this is worth a try and will only take a couple of minutes:
tion we would like to provide you with a $10 gas or grocery gift certificate. It’s just our little way of saying thanks for being a loyal Rogers customer.

Tropicana has gotten a new look! Tropicana is part of Pepsi Co. so it seems like Pepsi is rebranding all of its products.
Here are rendered images of Tropicana’s new look [source]:

Although I found Tropicana’s old design to be slightly dull, it was very unique and easy to locate on shelves. I find the new design’s too cheap and feels like a no name brand.
Brandnew blogger has an interesting comment on the caps:Â “And I really want to believe that the screw-cap will not be an orange-colored boobie as in the rendering above.”
Here’s the old design:

What do you think of that new Tropicana design?
Pepsi now has a new look and it’s drastically different from the classical Pepsi look that we’re used to. You’ll either love it or hate it. Personally, I’m in love with this new design! I like Pepsi more than Coke and now I can certainly say that I like Pepsi’s look more too!
