MrsJanuary had a Tylenol coupon blog post here with a link to a $3 off coupon on Tylenol Acetaminophen Products. However, some merchants change the coupon all of a sudden making us seem like liars. I learned this lesson from Harvey’s who without any notice changed the expiry date on their coupon about a year ago causing unnecessary drama 😛 . So what I usually do is keep a backup proof of coupons posted on here just in case.
It’s people who use a coupon 42 times that ruin it for EVERYONE. So please don’t be greedy and be SENSIBLE and use any coupon once. Don’t let companies regret being nice.
Save $3.00 on any Tylenol Acetaminophen product. Tylenol is sold at Walmart for almost $3 and also just above the $3 mark at many grocery stores like Loblaws.
Coupon expires January 31st, 2009

Thanks Koala for reminding us of that awesome program run by Canada Post.
The Santa Letter-writing Program brings joy to children from across Canada and around the world. In addition to giving many children their first introduction to letter writing, this program is also a very important part of the holiday season for thousands of Canada Post employees and retirees.
Currently, more than one million children write to Santa at his ‘NORTH POLE H0H 0H0’ address. Each letter that includes a return address receives a reply from Santa.
More than 11,000 current and retired Canada Post employees, affectionately called Postal Elves, help Santa to ensure that every child’s letter gets an answer in the language in which the letter was written, including Braille (emails are answered in English or French).
Encourage your children and students to write to Santa. It is a fun learning experience that helps teach kids how to write and send a letter. To ensure that children will receive a reply from Santa before Christmas, they should write as early as possible. Remember to include your return address. Teachers are urged to send their classroom letters by December 5.
Although Santa loves to receive letters and drawings, putting cookies and treats in your envelope is not a good idea as they will get crushed and damaged by the time they reach Santa. Santa much prefers to eat his treats on Christmas Eve, so please have your children save them at home for the big day!

GUESS? factory stores opening on November 28th at 6am to offer customers 30% off the entire store. One day only. I went to this last year and found excellent deals! This sale is better than Boxing Day!
This sale is available in-store only on Friday, November 28, 2008 at select Guess Canada Factory stores. So please make sure you contact your local store before waking up at 4am to arrive on time only to find out that your local store is not having the sale 😉
Aeropostale Canada us having a holiday sale. Although the banner above says 50% off “everything” they’re lying because items on clearance and fragnances are excluded. So it’s not really “everything” but it’s still a pretty hot deal if you’re planning on buying regularly prices merchandise from them.

Today we continue the Smart Canucks tradition of counting down till Christmas. Each day we’ll post about something interesting. It may be a classic Christmas song, shopping tips, ideas, stories, articles or anything fun and exciting!
If you’re a blogger you can get to write for one of the countdown days on Smart Canucks and also link to your blog. If you’re interested and have a creative idea please email me at smartcanucks {att} gmail com.
Threadless is have their Annual Holiday Sale right now, with dozens of great designs going as low as $5. For those of you not in the know, Threadless is a T-Shirt site with designs submitted by independent users. The designs are then voted on by the community and the cream of the crop make their way to the store on the site.
It’s probably my favorite place for shirts and yet I’ve never bought a one from there. Probably because clothes are always a tough purchase for me to justify. Let’s face facts — I’m a geek, and t-shirts aren’t electronics. Still — I’ve turned enough people on to them that it’s lead to me seeing a number of these in person, and they’re always of fantastic quality. They even have shirts in kids sizes. You can find something truly original for everyone on your Christmas list — hopefully for less than $5 — at threadless.com.

Featured Blog: Glimpse
Run by two moms with a love for Canadian parenting products, Glimpse offers reviews and giveaways on Canadian-made products that will appeal to moms and kids alike. Everything from cloth diapers to chemical-free soaps are reviewed. It’s a great resource for those of you looking to shop Canadian, and it seems as though there’s almost always a giveaway going on!
A blog featuring Canadian products is a great idea and I’m glad to see that it’s turned out so well. My only complaint is that all of the products featured relate to parents and parenting — I’d love to see a companion site that showcased a variety of products that are Canadian made! After all – who doesn’t want an Ookpik review?

Another week, another round of celebrities bent out of shape with the big M. Last time it was Paul McCartney and his anger over some Beatles pictures hanging in a Liverpool McDonald’s. This time? Devo’s looking to crack that whip over a Happy Meal toy that bears a striking resemblance to their lost plastic bandmate.
“This New Wave Nigel doll that they’ve created is just a complete Devo rip-off and the red hat is exactly the red hat that I designed, and it’s copyrighted and trademarked,” says bass player Gerald Casale. The song the toy plays, says Casale, also sounds strikingly like a Devo tune.
New Wave Nigel was part of the American Idol line of Happy Meal toys that were available in the US earlier this year. He was joined by other anthropomorphizations of music genres like Disco Dave and Soulful Selma. “They didn’t ask us anything. Plus, we don’t like McDonald’s, and we don’t like American Idol, so we’re doubly offended.”
Lawsuit is underway. Unlike the McCartney thing, I think they’ve got a pretty solid reasion for being bent out of shape over this one.
