This whole thing was baffling, first they put them “on sale” last month, then it’s “free”. So now I have a pass for 2016 that I paid for, but didn’t need to. So I need to buy another one at the end of 2016, then I’m good until 2018. Just all around communication breakdown. Plus, why would the government make the parks free during a celebratory year where people from around the world may come to take in the events? Bizarre. So if I were you, I would just buy one in December of 2016.
So after reading what GordN wrote, I am a little confused as to whether I should get the pass for 2016? I already have one which expires in July or so. I thought about purchasing one.
So is it free for 2016 all year around?
Please let me know.
Thank you.
