Keep in mind when ordering from Artscow that it is an Asian website (I think it’s based in China but not too sure) so when you pay with your credit card you will get nailed with a currency exchange fee unless your credit card company waives those. Sadly mine did not 🙁
About how much is that fee?
After reading more about Artscow and Tara’s post, this may be one of those situations where I opt to pay more for a Canadian-made product. The bags may be relatively cheap through the website, but that doesn’t mean the cost is low.
I thought this was a great site a cople of years ago. Spent hours (I am slow) ‘designing’ my ‘free’ project, only to find out the shipping cost was $30.90 for one small thing! Way to much! I think I will stick to Canada for this kind of stuff!

After reading the FAQ’s on the Artscow website, most credit card companies only charge a maximum of 3% currency exchange fee. You will have to check with your bank, but for the price of these totes, I will pay upwards to 3% for a currency conversion on my credit card. I just started my Christmas shopping already and got free shipping to boot!
No need to worry about all that. If your interested in their products check out there Ebay listing. Free Shipping, prices are ALOT cheaper than there website, and you pay with PAYPAL. Don’t need to worry about any exchange.
