Is there a coupon code of Please Mum from a magazine, website, etc that anyone knows of?

  2. Sally says:

I dont think there is any right now.

this would be a good deal if they didn’t continually up the price on everything before putting it on another sale. I never understand all of pleasemum’s ridiculous sales. I would buy there a lot more often if they were a little more normal about their pricing strategies.

I worked at Please Mum for 6 years, left about 4 years ago and I am shocked at how much the prices have gone up… $36.99 for PJs? are you kidding me? they were always $19.99ish.

When I started working there it’s when the VIP program was $25 to buy into and I used to get yelled at every day by customers who didn’t want to buy it but wanted the cheaper price!

I’m actually quiet suprised I lasted 6 years lol

Their quality is not great either. I would never pay $90 for a winter coat there, that is ridiculous when I could buy a Columbia or something.

FYI I bought my little guy a winter coat there last year at the end of the season on sale for this year. He wore it less than 10 times last year and has just started wearing it this year. This morning I noticed the piping on it is cracking. Not only that but it has been washed once and the cuffs are SO pilly. Not worth the money even at half off!

Love to see people who feel the same way about please mum that I do.
Their “sale” section is still the same summer stuff from 6 months ago, and is still overpriced. The quality is never all that great, and they are not “high end”. I wish they would bring their prices down by about half, then I would consider shopping there.
I wonder how they can compete with places like old navy, and childrens place?

  7. B says:

Initially their prices were high because it was all made in Canada… now I don’t know what their excuse is! When they “went cheaper”, they started hiding the ‘Made in’ tags…So ‘Please Mum Canada’ was put on the tag you can see, but hidden somewhere it’ll say ‘Made in China’ (or where ever)and of course, everyone saw ‘Canada’ and figured it was made there!

I like Please mum a lot better then the Childrens Place. Now you want to talk about utter crap shop there. I hit up a lot of Please Mum sales and have always been happy with the quality. Gymbo and gap are my faves but please mum always hits a solid 3rd along with Old Navy.

  9. Priscilla says:

There is only one pleaseMum in our town(in the north) and their services were getting worse. I used to complain the service last July and got response two month later and the rude sales are still working there. Luckily we can do online shopping on Gap Canada, hopefully Gymboree canada later.

  10. Sally says:

Gymborees site ships here so I cant see that seperating.

  11. Priscilla says:

But Gymborees you need to pay custom fee, not worth.

  12. Sally says:

Sure it is, if you combine it with a sale then extra discounts like 20% – 30% off extra codes you save huge even with the 7$ customs fee and gst. Remember if they charge you PST you can get that back as there is just GST on kids clothes.

    🙂

I bought my kids snowsuits there a few mths ago, actually I bought them online so I could ensure the sizes I wanted were available. I got 2 full snowsuits for $174 with tax(they were all 50% off), so it was around $80 a set). I think that is a great deal, and the snowsuits are awesome quality and so warm.
I rarely shop there but when I do I only buy sale items, I always found them a bit pricey and I thought that member pricing years ago was stupid.
