Porters Airlines Canada is offering an exclusive promo code sale on top of their current public sale on flights, where you can save up to 40% off the regular base fare on select flights if you book before February 19th at 11:59pm EST and travel before July 29th, 2015. The promo code you will have to enter, 6U6CYN, claims to only be available for e-mail subscribers, but to become a member of Porter’s e-mail list is easy to do and is also free. When you follow this link, they will prompt you to enter your e-mail address and then you will begin receiving alerts to sale seats plus exclusive saving promo codes.

Since you won’t be able to travel on the long weekend in May, as the black out dates for this sale are marked as May 15th and 18th plus July 3rd through till the 5th, I thought to try getting seats for the long weekend in April (Easter weekend) for travel between Montreal and Toronto. If you leave on Wednesday, April 1st (or the Thursday and Friday had the same price available) and return on Tuesday, April 7th you will only have to pay $210 roundtrip!

After a quick check with Google Flight Tracker, I found that the Porter price was an average of $19 cheaper than other airlines, which isn’t a huge savings but it is still a savings!
