Porter Airlines Canada is having the last day of their 50% off base fare discount, in what they’re calling the ‘soak up the savings’ sale. While the public sale is 50% off the base fare (and 40% off the base fare for Atlantic Canada), you can use this promo code, 36GE53, to save an extra 10% off today.

You will have to book by 11:59pm EST to catch the tail end of this sale, and your dates of travel will have to be by, at the very latest, September 17th, 2015. You will also have to book your flights 21 days in advance before your day of intended travel, otherwise the discount will not be as steep.

Using this 10% off promo code and the 40% off base fare discount on Atlantic Canadian routes, I was able to find a roundtrip ticket in August flying from Toronto to Halifax for just $424; unfortunately, yesterday this same flight was being sold for just $404, as the promo code was providing you with 15% off rather than just 10%. That being said, $424 is still a decent price for a roundtrip ticket to Halifax, and I’m sure you could find even better deals with different routes and days of travel!
