Porter Airlines Canada is having a new promotion where you can save up to half off base fares to almost any destination if you book by tonight at 11:59pm and travel by December 14th! This is your chance to take the spontaneous vacation you’ve always wanted to. Keep in mind that you must book at least 21 days before you plan on leaving. Blackout dates that apply to this offer are travel between October 10-13, 2014 and November 26-30, 2014. Discount applies only to the regular base fare and does not apply to fees, taxes or surcharges.

If you’re leaving from Toronto, you can fly to New York for only $159, including all taxes and fees or if you’re in Montreal, you can fly to Boston for $208! When I went to New York, the most expensive part of my trip was flights *sigh* The time of year we went was a little bit more expensive than usual but at the time, a flight for $159 was non existent! Keep in mind that you have to pay $25 for one checked bag with Porter. If you’re flying for just a weekend, do what I do and shove everything I can into a carry on bag.
