Looks like President’s Choice Financial is my new bank of choice. PC Financial offers an interest plus savings account with high interest rates.
When I say high interest I mean as high (if not higher) than GIC interest rates. If your account has between $0 and $1000 you get 1%. If your PC savings account has $1,000.01 and up you get 4%!! You also get bonus annual interest but that’s not really a biggie.
Compared to TD and other banks’ GIC interest rates this 4% interest on a savings account is invincible. I’ll pass by TD soon and see if they can match PC Financial’s interest rates. If they can’t… goodbye TD.
