There is a recall for Prestige Brands’ fever medicines for children and infants impacting the following products over concerns that the acetaminophen in them is produced by a Chinese supplier undergoing quality concerns.
- Children’s Little Remedies for Fevers – Grape, DIN 02385198, 160 mg/5 mL strength.
- Children’s Little Remedies for Fevers – Cherry, DIN 02385198, 160 mg/5 mL strength.
- Infant’s Little Remedies for Fevers – Berry, DIN 02385171, 80 mg/mL strength.
- Infant’s Little Remedies for Fevers – Grape, DIN 02385171, 80 mg/mL strength.
If you have these products, do not use them. While it is a voluntary recall and no cases of illness have been documented in Canada, don’t risk it.
