From Dec. 9-11, 2011 earn 50 bonus Air Miles at Rexall Pharma Plus when you spend $50 or more before taxes (some exclusions apply). From personal experience, you can lower your total using coupons and still get the bonus Air Miles since they are awarded automatically in the system once your transaction reaches $50. If you have any Free Product Coupons expiring on Dec. 31st for items that Rexall carries, then you could use them and get some bonus Air Miles for free.

Any thoughts on whether we can double this up at Rexall? (ie. if I use my Air Miles AMEX & show my Air Miles card, do I get both 50 BAM offers?) Or do you think it’s one offer per transaction. That’d be super super sweet if I could get BOTH 50 BAM offers on one $50 purchase!

AnnV I think so as I’ve used the 50 bonus airmiles cards they give out to some members when they have been running this same sort of deal and ended up with the extra 100. The amex one will mean you actually have to spend the $50 though as it will be after coupons not before like the one they are offering.
Anyone know can I buy gift cards to earn the bonus airmiles?

Awesome, thanks for the info! For the 100 AM, I don’t mind spending the full $50. There are always toiletries and such I can stock up on and hoard — though I’m sure my boyfriend won’t be impressed when I bring home 20 toothbrushes, a years worth of shampoo and 3 months worth of toilet paper! lol…

I’m pretty sure gift cards are excluded from the Rexall deal (I think it say that somewhere in the fine print). But I don’t see why you couldn’t buy GCs with an AirMiles AMEX (if you have one) and take advantage of THAT 50 BAM offer.
Page 12 of the Ontario flyer fine print says…

Offer valid at Participating Rexall™ and Rexall™ Pharma Plus locations only in the province of Ontario, excluding the region of Thunder Bay and Western Provinces. Stores in the region of Thunder Bay do not offer Air Miles….
So it does seem to exclude Gift Card Express & Rexall GCs. As I pointed out though, the loophole might be using an AMEX.
