Rogers Introduces New Customer Reward Program

rogers

Rogers have introduced a new customer reward program, and unlike their recent freebies for select customers, this one is open to all customers.

Customers enrolled in the loyalty program are assigned a Rogers First Rewards tier and point accrual rate based on an average of total account holder’s spend before taxes over the past 12 months

  • Silver customers ($0 – $69.99/month) earn 1 point per dollar
  • Gold customers ($70 – $199.99/month) earn 1.5 points per dollar
  • Platinum customers ($200+/month) earn 2 points per dollar

You can redeem these points for roaming packs, long distance and call packs on cell services.  If you have cable internet from Rogers you can get free upgraded internet packages, and for television customers, premium TV content and Rogers On Demand movies.  More rewards are to be added later too.

Rogers First Rewards is rolling out regionally, so it may not be available in your area yet, but they will email customers when it is available to you, so make sure your email is up to date.  Click here to see if it is available in your area.  If it is, we would love to know what rewards are available and how many points you need to redeem for them.

Surprise Surprise it is not available in our area yet. Why do companies do that ? If you are going to introduce a program why not roll it out across the country at the same time … DISAPPOINTING !

    • FallenPixels says:

Most promos are rolled out when done the first time because teething problems at a national level will overwhelm them

  2. 2jk19 says:

Super excited to hear about this! Unfortunately not available in the Hamilton area yet.

  3. Darren says:

This is a tiny itty bitty offering by the Rogers giant. They could easily afford to cut prices 10% across the board and still make billions. Why won’t they? Because they have absolutely no reason to.

Start pushing the CRTC to roll out some real changes to help protect consumers.

  4. Dream24 says:

This is Rogers we are talking about, so I am not holding my breath over their rewards program. And I’m sure they will find ways not to honour people’s points.

  5. Sue says:

Would rather have better rates. Similar to the US. Or Australia. Or the UK. Or most of Europe.Or, how about that imaginary ‘access fee’ that we all paid for oh so many years refunded, in full, across the board?

  6. Salena says:

If you take advantage of BCB discount your not eligible for this program. Your would have the give up BCB to be eligible.

  7. Shelby says:

Rogers is so damn expensive it’s still not worth it.

    Hi everyone,

Rogers First Rewards is rolling out regionally across Canada throughout 2013. All eligible existing customers will receive notice by mail or email when they are eligible to take advantage of the Rogers First Rewards program.

You can also self-enrol by signing into your MyRogers account and following the steps at rogers.com, when the program becomes available in your region.

New customers will be enrolled in the program automatically when it becomes available in their region.

  9. Kate says:

    Not available in BC

  10. cdn75 says:

Figures, I do not need a roaming or long distance package.

  11. Sue says:

This programme burns even more in light of Rogers challenging the code of conduct. Insult to injury.

  12. RogersSarah says:

    Hi everyone,

A quick update here. Rogers First Rewards is now available to customers in London, ON.

  13. Jay says:

Finally comes to the end of a royal relationship with Rogers. Just canceled my last service with Rogers. From cable TV, internet, home phone, wireless, to now nothing. I am so glad. Rogers doesn’t like royal customers. Rogers only like so-called new custmoer. It gives all the good discount to new customer, not royal customers. Please don’t be fooled by Rogers. Leave Rogers alone.
