Royale Toilet Paper $0.13/Roll with Coupon at Walmart (ON)

royale

In the Walmart (ON) September 3-9, 2010 flyer, Royale bathroom tissue (16 double roll or 32 single roll)  is advertised for $4.48. If you have the $1 off any package of Royale bathroom tissue coupon from GoCoupons.ca, you pay only about $0.13 per roll. How did I calculate this? $4.48 x 1.13 (tax) = $5.06 – $1 coupon = $4.06 (including tax for 32 single rolls). $4.06/32 = $0.12695 per roll. This actually works out to be cheaper than buying the 24 single roll packages that are on sale for $4.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, which is about $0.19 per roll if you use the same calculation and coupon as above.

    The cost where I live is $5.98-$1.00 gocoupons.ca coupon= $4.98 + 5% G.S.T. = $5.31.So almost $0.17 a roll.

Now if you are doing the Shoppers for 20x it pans out like this

$4.99 x .13%=$5.64-$1=$4.63 but you will get 1000 points and if you are a plus member that is worth $2.10 at the super cashout(which I always do) and your price per roll will be DRUM ROLL PLEASE : )

    $4.63-$2.10=.105 per single roll.

This is way to much fun.LOL

  3. IRefuseToPayFullPrice says:

Melody113 – That’s great! I wish I were a Plus member. But even without the Plus status, using the same calculation as you then it would be $0.1099 per roll. Definitely a great deal if you’re doing the 20x points event at Shoppers.

Poirot – If you’re doing the 20x points event at Shoppers then it would be cheaper for you. See Melody113’s post.

IF you can find those toilet paper at Walmart Waterloo

I got the flyer last night (Wednesday), which starts Wednesday
I dropped by Walmart around 8 pm and there’s nothing left, on the 1st day of the flyer!!!!

I hate Walmart for that… so am I supposed to check it daily and at random times? I can’t imagine the weekend crowd

Royale is almost always the best deal. Try to compare the sq. metres per package with other brands and you will see they always come out on top. The cost per roll price can sometimes be deceiving especially with Cottonelle and Charmin which is by far the most expensive.

  8. 23edge says:

    $0.08 per wipe

  9. V says:

They always have tons of stock in back, they only put out so many.
This forces people to buy regular priced toilet paper, since most people are to lazy.

  10. Poirot says:

Walmart in Amherstburg ran out of this paper in 2 hours on the 1st day. Very tipical of this store. Waste of your time to try for the big sale items.

Wal-Mart Stores (WMT), which for years has touted its prowess at lowering prices, has been doing the opposite as it tries to bolster its bottom line amid stagnating sales.

A JPMorgan Chase (JPM) study of a Walmart Supercenter in Virginia found that the world’s largest retailer has raised prices by nearly 6% on average over the past six weeks, according to the New York Post. Reuters says it was the biggest sequential increase since JPMorgan started the study in January 2009.
