When you enter the promo codes the 40% off one comes up at 30% off and the 30% off one comes up at 25% off???:(
Just called Sears & there’s a glitch in their system with the code. They’re ‘looking into it’. No alternate code available atm.
same thing happened to me, I’m not putting an order through if they can’t even get their ad correct
I called Sears this morning as well, and 2 hours ago they said, “Try in 30 minutes or so, the glitch should be fixed”, well it’s still not working, though I get 30% off instead of 40%, the code is actually not taking the discount off the items, and I’m still being charged the full amount (before the discount) – If I were to complete the order. Very frustrating…
Is the price shown the final price or is the discount still to come?

well, yeah the code showed 40% off, however is still didn’t take the discount of my total, and I just completed my purchase and got charged the full amount…calling Sears customer service 🙁
Thanks for the new code, Katigo. I used the 40% code and it worked. Tami, I had to refresh the page to get it to apply the code (it will show in red and say “we have found a lower price” and take 40% off each item). I got some pretty spring dresses and a top for a great price 🙂
So although the order was showing the full amount without the discount, I confirmed that they did take off 40% off, which makes me very happy. Thank you Katigo for the new code! 🙂
I’ve tried to order on line a few items on the “Outlet site” and I had a 40% discount code and it did not work so I called the order in only to be told thet “and electric Knife and a coffee grinder” are considered Major appliances how ridiculous is that. I then cancelled my order. Could someone please explain to me how and electric knofe and coffee grinder are major appliances?thank you Marguerite Ramage

I ordered last time for a paper shredder (the exclusions then are major appliance & sewing machine only), I was told anything with a motor considered “major appliance”!

Half my order was unavailable or cancelled and NO discount… it was cancelled to… Piss me off!

I also cancelled my order that I had as I had wanted a shelf, but it was considered to be in the “home” section and therefore would not discount.

Are items purchased online from the outlet/clearance returnable? There are a ton of cute shoes etc I like, but I dont’ trust they’ll fit – and I know clearance items in sotre are no longer returnable.
I’ve never had a problem returning outlet merchandise to the store when I’ve placed an order online. I would check with your local store to ensure a hassle-free experience. Don’t forget to get the name of the employee that ‘okays’ your return…just in case.
It’s so unfair that my previous post reminding people to get air miles with their purchases got deleted. What’s wrong with that?
Sears.ca has gone DOWNHILL in the last 6 months or so; I placed an order 3 seperate times and had it cancelled, received an email saying they couldn’t sell the item at that price point, and the last time that it would be in MAy 1st, then cancelled it January 10th. SO disappointed; by going through sears I lost out on any other boxing day sales I could have taken advantage of, and the customer service people were useless and rude. Never again!!!

Well, I had a bit of trouble getting the discount code to go through signed in as a “guest”, but when I made a profile and tried again it worked. I got a great winter parka for my son, ad a couple of sweaters for myself. Another weird glitch on the website was that the distance listed to each pick up location was way off…it said my closest pick up location was 1.8 km. away, but it’s actually more like 6 km away!
