If you still have a lot of coupons expiring on Dec. 31st, it would be a great time to use them up and bring your out of pocket total to below $50 and still get 20x points. Here is the Quebec flyer posted by couponmummy. The prices are about 98% similar across the country with only slight variations on certain items.
yay! im soo excited for this event! i already have an entire list! and im using $30 in coupons! WOOHOO
How are you able to spend less than the 50$ – iève tried but staff wont let me.
I think your out of pocket total needs to be $50+. “Points are issued according to the net pre-tax purchase total of eligible products after redemptions and discounts and before taxes…”
I always use piles of coupons during these events to bring my total down to way below $50 (sometimes even $5 – $10) and I always get 20x the points on my pre-coupon total. Try it, it works! 🙂
really? i heard of people who bring their totals to $50 before tax and coupons and they still get 20X the points …
I have always used coupons and still get 20X the points. 🙂 Before coupons are rang in you need a total of $50.00.
They told me that coupons only count twoards the points if you spend $50 first. I am mixed up as some get and some dont is it just luck of the draw on the cashier?
do they enter the coupons as you go or after your total
try giving them the stack of coupons with your cash I do that everywhere there is a bonus that they get sticky with having to meet a certain total for stuff
I tried that before but dont think they hit total yet when they tell you how much gave it just before. Will try that
shopped today, spent $41.80, used 19.50 coupons (all rang in as 2001). also used one coupon FPC $6.49 (rang in as 2002)
regular points:560
bonus points:10540
total points earned today:11200 🙂
Great information once again! I am looking forward for your next post:)
Top-notch news it is actually. Friend on mine has been looking for this content.
My husband checked out a bill for $132.67 today without his Optimum card. I returned to the store within the hour but they would not give me the 23,800 points. How can this be remedied? Do I have to return all 13 items to be the points? Please respond.
Depending on the cashier, they can scan your receipt and Optimum or will make you return and rebuy
