As we mentioned earlier, on November 8, Shoppers Drug Mart stores will be hosting Holiday Beauty Galas in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Look Good Feel Better.

Enjoy a makeover & skin consultations plus get samples and refreshments.  Tickets are just $10 and $5 from the sale of each ticket is donated to their charities and the remaining $5 is given to you as a coupon redeemable on your purchase of cosmetics, fragrance or jewellery at the party.

Today I got a sneak peek of the goodie/sample bags given out for this event.  While the colours were better in some than others, each included two lip products, 2 eyeshadows and two nail polishes.  There were also small samples to go in the bags (the usual ones you would get with any purchase at the beauty boutique).  While the colours in the bag I snapped a photo of were not really “me” they are definitely worth more than the $5 you would be spending on the party (as you would redeem the other $5 on any beauty item with no minimum spend required).
