Shoppers Drug Mart is currently holding a promotion whereby if you spend $30 or more on any Biotherm products, you get one product free. The free product is valued at $30 or more. I went yesterday and bought a facial cream for $49 and got another kind worth $49 for free. The cashier told me that for every product purchased over $30, you get one free, so if you buy two and each is over $30, you get to choose two free products. Also, if you purchased over $100 worth of Biotherm products, you get 10,000 bonus points! The free product does count towards the $100 spent as I only purchased two products, one $49 and another for $15, but since the free product was also $49, total was over $100 and I got the 10,000 bonus points!
Promotion is ending sometime in September. Date has yet to be confirmed.
I recommend you call the store you are planning to visit to inquire before heading there as although a lot of the stores are having the promotion, not all of them are.

The free item didn’t count towards the $75 for the 15,000pts but if you did spend $75, you will also receive the 15,000pts. I was short a few dollars so I bought the stayfree which was on for 2/$5, used 2x$2 coupons and got my total over $75 (coupons count towards the $75) and got both bonus points. Reg. pts was 770, bonus was 25,000!
smartnewbie: That is a smart way to get 25,000 bonus points for spending only $75.
The problem here is do you really need all the stuff just to get the extra discount? Cosmetics have a shelf life and who knows how long they have stayed in the drug store. I think this deal is meant for a few people buying together to get the best bargain.
Random: I asked about the shelve life and was told that products especially facial creams have either dates or shelve life marked right on it. If you look at the packaging on the Biotherm products, there’s an icon with the number 12M marked on it which means that it expires 12mos after opening.
Went to Kelowna shoppers today and they are still honoring this until Sept 27th. She said they sold out of a lot of stuff right away, but will call me when the order comes in on Wednesday, the 19th. She also took what I wanted down on paper and will hold it for me when I come in:)
