This Saturday SDM is offering 20x the points when you spend $75 or more before taxes (usual exclusions apply) They are offering the Wii bundle for $188.88 as well so you can buy it Saturday and receive 20x the points. Not a bad bonus if you were planning on purchasing the Wii anyways.

The picture in the flyer is of the red 25th anniversary bundle with the 2 games included, and the desription says “bundle”, so I’m planning on bringing the flyer with me and making sure I get that specific one. Mathwise, the points equal about $52.

Didn’t it used to be 20x the points with a 50$+ purchase? They also hiked up the points needed to reach each level this summer… I’m a loyal SDM girl, but I’m just about ready to give my business to someone else and forget about Optimum points.
I’ve seen SDM adjust the minimun purchase amount from $50 for some 20x events and sometimes it jumps to $75 for other 20x event. I always participate and just pick up a little extra…afterall, you are still getting 20x the points on the $25 additional OOP.

We are aware that 20x the points is 20% off right? For some stuff its ok, but at SDM’s inflated prices, its always best to be careful before jumping into the “points” trap – IMHO of course!
Do you get points when you buy a gift card? And then additional points when you actually purchase something with the gift card?
No you don’t get points for buying gift cards but you would if you were using an sdm gift card to buy stuff. To take the most advantage of the 20X the points, it’s best to buy sale items…shoppers regular prices are definitely more than other retailers but their sales are unmatched!
