Shoppers Drug Mart is running two different promotions this week. On Saturday and Sunday (Jan 7 & 8) you will get 2 Free Admissions to Cineplex theatres when you spend $75 or more . The other offer is running from Monday to Friday (Jan 9-13). If you participate in this promotion, you will get 8000 bonus Optimum points when you spend $50 or more. That’s a $10 value on regular redemption days.

LOL! same here… i was like 80000?!?!?! no way! had to go check the flyer for myself. it’s 8000. but it’s still a $10 reward if u redeem on a regular day…that part was true.
I wonder what we will have here is the east since we have no Cineplex??

From what I remember, when we did the pyramid thing (that referral thing they have 3 times a year) we were always told to buy a gift card first to get some points with that but I am uncertain as to whats what these days as I’ve not participated in those for ages

Sunnyapril, it was originally posted as 80,000 but later corrected (by the time you had read it) to 8000.
I looked through the flyer twice. I saw no promotion on gift cards at all. Unless you are referring to the Cineplex part of it?
When referring to gift cards and Shoppers Drug Mart, typically, not always mind you, it is cards like iTunes or Starbucks or Chapters and it happens with purchase, like buy $50 of iTunes card and get 500 bonus points.
Heading (for me anyway) was a bit confusing.
Don’t spend 50 dollars this week to get only 8500 points (500 regular points and 8000 bonus points). Wait until 20x the point event, when you can get 10000 points.
You can’t get points for gifts cards!
