hi guys,
i did some math, in case you’re interested….
if you redeem 95000 pts for 170$ on a normal day, you would be spending 558 pts per dollar redeemed.
if you redeemed 50000 pts for $85 on a normal day, you’d be spending 588pts/$.
if you spend 50000 pts on this bonus day (so essentially you’re spending 35000pts after your credit), it’s like spending 411pts/$ spent.
if you do the 95000 (or 65000 after credit) it’s like spending 382pts/$.
if you wait til Christmas and redeem 95000 for $250 (the usual xmas offer), it’s ilke spending 380 pts/$.
SO…. If you’re redeeming at the 95000 reward level, this offer is almost exactly the same as the Christmas offer. Just thought some people might like to see that math. I’m not sure exactly what the xmas reward is for the 50000 pt level, so i can’t vouch for that math.
🙂
Thanks Crystal!
I was just wondering how this offer stacked up to others, including the one at xmas. Thanks for figuring it all out for us. You rock.
