does this include shoppers gift cards? if so, this is a great promo!!
Hmmmmm if this is good for SDM cards too.. then you could buy a $150 SDM card with an Optimum MasterCard, get the 5000 bp + 1500 reg pts + 2250 credit card points= 8150 pts, turn around and buy 2 $75 gift cards for something else with the SDM card and get another 5000 bp for a total of 13,500 optimum points for the same $150. Do that a couple of times…. I think I just finished my x-mas shopping with a nice points shopping spree for me on the next bonus redemption day 🙂
In the fine print with this promotion, it says that a gift or financial card cannot be used to purchase additional gift or financial cards. Bonus points will not be issued for transactions in which a gift card or financial card is used as tender to pay for additional gift or financial cards. That being said, if you get away with more than one set of 5000 bonus points this way let me know lol. Points are to be rewarded by Nov. 19.
Is this for any gift card purchase? Normally the bonus points on gift cards are for the financial ones which also charge the user a fee to use them…not such a great deal when they do this.
