While there is no bonus redemption at Shoppers Drug Mart Canada this weekend, what we do have to look forward to is the return of this popular and yearly gift card offer. From November the 4th to the 10th, spend $200 or more on 2 or more gift cards, and get 8000 bonus Optimum points added to your account.
The points will be added at a later date, so do keep your receipt as proof should there be any difficulty getting your points on that date. I can’t make out the small print, so check the flyer for the date they are to be awarded. Make sure that you are purchasing two or more gift cards totaling $200 or more, and also there may be a limit to the number of times you can do this per optimum number, but again, check the fine print. Also, stay away from the loadable gift cards as those usually don’t qualify for this offer. For the best selection of cards do this promo early in the week as it is popular and certain gift cards may sell out.

Had difficulty buying 4 x $50 SDM cards using this offer today. We typically use the Shoppers gift cards for the rest of the year on groceries. The register somehow rejected the transaction, and the $50 was not loadable onto the gift cards. Has anyone else had the same experience? Or were you able to buy the Shoppers gift cards for this offer.
