Spend $50 or more on eligible items between January 24th – 27th and receive a $10 Shoppers Drug Mart gift card. Click here to see full details on the offer. The gift card can be used on your next purchase and expires February 17th, 2012.
The promotion is also available in Manitoba and Saskatchewan however it seems in those provinces you have to spend $60 to get the $10 gift card. See details here.
They should change the wording from ‘gift card’ to ‘coupon’ instead. In Canada gift cards are not allowed to have an expiry date, by law.
Actually, if you buy a gift card in Ontario it can not expire. If you get it through a store promotion they can have an expire date.
I would say this is more like a ‘$10 off $10+ purchase’ coupon. Gift cards not only don’t have expiry dates but also don’t require minimum purchase.
I would say “I’ll take it!”
Some coupon people can be angry and aggressive. I feel bad for the poor customer service people who deal with some of this site’s visitors.
They’re not angry or aggressive. They’re just making comments, pointing out our laws that should be followed. To those, above, can you let Shopper’s know, please? We all should!
Does anyone know if this can be combined with the $40 for 8000 optimum points baby deal?
