Canadian Deals & Coupons

tim-hortons

Shoppers is giving away another gift card with purchase.  This time you get a $10 Tim Horton’s card when you spend $50 on mosst items in the store this weekend (September 12 and 13).  This sounds like another great time to use the 10,000 bonus points coupon for Optimum Plus members!

Thanks to Coco Coupon and Tripsplanner for this update!

Coupon good for specific person who got it ONLY! Site is going to get everyone card canceled like daphne for abuse the coupons

  2. Boo Radley says:

oops, no it is not good for 1 person only. Get over it and move on already.

Like Boo says, the 10,000 points coupon is not just for the person it’s sent too. If it was it would have a unique upc which it does not. Each person can only use the coupon once though. Printing a bunch of them and trying to use them with each SDM trip will not work.

  4. oops! says:

I have email from SDM saying good for people who recevies it ONLY. Thats why it say “NON TRANSFERBALE idiot!!!

Since when has this blog become an arena to verbally abuse other people posting on this site? And is that kind of behaviour tolerated on this blog? I am disgusted that “Oops” seems to think it’s ok to call another person they don’t know an “idiot”.

  6. MomSharron says:

It appears that not only is that type of behaviour tolerated, but it is promoted since Boo is the one writing “get a life”. If you want to grow your site and gain sponsors keep it professional Boo.

  7. Zephyr says:

    MomSharron,
“Get a life.” is far from insulating – it’s actually a quite common and (truthfully) accurate response to a verbal attack online. If somebody went off on a rant and called me an “idiot” for no reason I’d be more likely to tell them to “get a life” than anything else. 1. because you really do need to get a life if you’re arguing and ranting and cursing at somebody over the internet, (especially when it’s over something so trivial as this) and 2. because it actually NOT very rude in comparison to using profanity or name calling. I’ve had people say things to me online that they would never dare utter in a real life conversation, because people simply don’t relate to each other in person they way they do online. People can be unfathomably horrible to each other because they know they can get away with acting that way when they’re behind a computer monitor. I’ve never had anybody act like that in real life.

Again, I think Boo didn’t really say anything insulting, she voiced her annoyance without calling anybody names, unlike oops!

Truthfully this place is extremely tame, and this utterance of “idiot” is the first offensive thing I’ve seen in the comments.

Oops seems to make a lot of visits here JUST to complain about SDM deals.
    Don’t worry, I hate SDM too 🙂

    Hi!
Just back from the store Sun Sept 13th, here in Quebec.
A promotion that sounded good = $10.00 gift card on any purchase more than $50.00 (on almost enveryhing except prescriptions, etc…all right???

Wonder why I spent $63.33 + tx and it did not work for me. She said any drugstore product, especially with a DIN number, does not apply! To me it is not a prescription as it was taken on a shelf???
(I paid my presciptions separately anyway).
    So if I understood well, 1 X Acetaminophen 200 box (DIN02252813) at $11.49 and 9 X Rubbing Alcool Compound (NPN 00167630) at $2.99 –
are not applicable for the Tim Horton promotion, even if they are NOT prescriptions.
Sounds like a rip-off, or a mistake in their computer.
PLEASE BEWARE and don’t hesitate to ask them questions before paying!
See you next time at the Jean Coutu…

Thanks for the heads up on that Richard. I wonder if it is a screw up in their computers because I’m sure that I’ve bought tylenol during one of these promos before. Maybe I’m remembering wrong though. I would never have thought that over the counter medications would not count towards the promo seeing as it just says perscriptions are excluded.
