Shoppers Drug Mart Canada has sent out a text offer that is valid for today only, Tuesday, November the 28th. You can use this offer to earn 20,000 PC Optimum points when you spend $75 or more on nearly anything in the store. Scan the barcode from the offer in addition to your PC Optimum card to earn your points.

Not all of the text offers have been awarding immediately as of late. If you do not receive the points right away just hang on to your receipt and watch for them to be deposited into your account in the next short while. Also, with the bonus redemption on now there seems to be a lot of questions about these types of offers. You will not earn points from an offer like this when you are redeeming. When redeeming you will only earn points from personal offers that for a specific product, like 200 points for every $1 spent on No Name Butter. You will also earn in-store points like the 8,000 points on select Bioderma products. You will not get points for offers like 5,000 points when you spend $25 on Listerine for example. If an offer contains the words “when you spend,” you must literally spend to get the points.
