Do you think it will allow the 20% off electronics? like the Wii, Nintendo DSi? Good time to grab xmas stuff early if it does

  2. Kyla says:

Honestly I have no clue about those items because then they would be selling them under cost. I would assume they have to though because the coupons usually only ever don’t work with the usual stuff. Sooo I’m going to guess yes?

  3. Angie says:

The coupon says,it’s ONE time use only.

I don’t think anyone else can use it

  4. Shannon says:

You can get the coupon right on their homepage, its not just by email

  5. Mike says:

How the heck are they going to manage excluding “sale items”? I don’t think the cashier can tell what is on sale and what is not from the receipt. I also do not believe that the system can handle refusing the coupon if there is a sale item … will have to see how this turns out.

  6. Brenna says:

So this discount is good for up to $50? So if you spend say, $53 before taxes, you would only get the 20% off on the $50? That is how I understand it at least.

  7. Marisa says:

Same as seniors’ discount days. You won’t be refused the cpn if you have a sale item but system is already programmed for sale items and automatically applies discount to all non-sale items at end of purchase.

  8. Robin Brunet says:

I went to Shoppers to look if they have the Nintendo DSi XL in stock and they do….was thinking the same thing, use the coupon. Funny thing is they put the word “Sale” just in front of the price even though the item is not on sale ($169 is the regular price everywhere) so I’m guessing they did that on purpose so that it would be excluded from the 20% discount (sale items not included). I sent an email to see what they say but I’m not optimistic.

  9. brandyzz says:

I was going to buy the Di SXL as well, but i suppose if they do not honor the 20% off, we can all buy them for 20X the points on Saturday

  10. bambinoitaliano says:

20% but not below cost. Most electronics sold at Shoppers have less than 20% mark up. It’s not necessary you will get the 20% discount. Just make sure you check the price before you pay.

  11. Shannon says:

@ Brenna… You can spend up to $250 and get $50 off. That is the max discount you can do with this promo

I used the 20% coupon yesterday and it didn’t work because the majority of the items that I purchased were on sale. The word “sale” comes up on your slip and when they scanned the 20% off coupon it didn’t take anything off. The cashier told me it is because the system knows what items are on sale and this is why it didn’t take the 20% off.
