Unlike secret events where those who refer get points base on the number of referrals. Shoppers are only giving out 6 Nintendo sets to 6 regional employees who got the most referrals. I am sure they are more than happy to have more friends and families to participate on this event. Beside when you click on the link, it is an actual invitation link not a duplicate or generic link created by anyone or any machine.

Although one minor problem for Baminitaliano- The rules and regulations for this event states you can not post your personal refereal on public website/or blog. They will not count towards your total. Also they people you sign up MUST be emailed. If SDM suspect anything else besides emails, they personally will contact they people you registered to see how they heard and signed up

I registered for this promo through the link to shoppers website(without any referral)—and after I did, the website showed that I was referred by this person (the name was written there) whom I did not know.
Also, today after I purchased $50 worth of merchandise (before taxes), the 20x points was not reflected on my receipt. Did anybody else have the same experience?
might be due to the fact that the event is next week?
thats not till July 26 & 27
today and tomorrow are special redemption days, the 20X is next weekend. You should probably do a return and wait for next week. I don’t think the points will be automatic then either though, I think SDM will be verifying prior to awarding points.

So do we need a coupon for them to scan next weekend or will the points be multiplied magically?
You register your card online, that’s how you recieve extra points.

I purchased +$50 on July 27th, but didn’t register my card via the link until Aug 1. Is Aug 1 10:30AM too late to register and receive 20x pts?
