Spc Card is offering a decent deal when you order your new SPC card. Buy your SPC card for $10 and receive $10 off $xx. You can redeem the coupon at Suzy, Danier, Bench, Buffalo, Jean Machine, The Body Shop. Some stores require a minimum purchase of $25 and some require $79. Remember this is not for the VIP Spc, unfortunately they are not readily available this year, which is a huge dissapointment.

Shame that the VIP is not available readily this year, like with the Loulou subscription. They say its only available as a prize or something. Way to bite the non-students in the behind SPC!!

Tried using my SPC card at UPS store(as advertised on the spc card site) and it was not accepted – I only lost out on .53c savings but truly if they are participating in the card savings and getting the advertising from it shouldn’t they know at the store what this discount card is???

No VIP card? 🙁 I loved it because I am a student BUT I’ve lost my student card 3 times so they want to charge me like $60 for a new one now. I figure that I don’t REALLY need one so I ordered Lou Lou last year. Plus I love it when they cashier’s can be rude and are like “Ummmm you need a student card to use this” (in a rude voice) and I can be all like “Ummmmm no I don’t it’s VIP B…” LOL.
Oh well.
Surprised that the dollar off deals aren’t deals. It always burns me that you have to spend x dollars before getting the nominal $10 discount. I’m okay with spend $20 to get $10 dollars off but that’s it. Canadian retailers need to clue into this; American retailers caught on aeons ago. 🙁
I applied for the MC SPC and no student ID required so sort of a VIP. No fee credit card, so if your good with credit cards ( pay the balance monthly) you can get your VIP card and never have to renew it.
If you order the LouLou subscription, does the SPC card come right away since usually these issues take a couple months to arrive? I see the SPC card is already valid so I don’t want it to take to long to arrive and miss deals…
