wow can’t believe this site is now allowing advertisements from scams like time sharing opportunities.

  2. Ashling says:

I don’t think that’s really fair Dina. Not all deals that are posted here are for everyone, true…and advertising helps the site in many ways.

  3. Alex says:

I took various time share presentations in my life and I´ve never made a bad experience. Sad that I just got back from my vacation, cause the deal sounds really great and seems to be worth to listen to a 90 min presentation.

  4. JoeyJoeJoe says:

    Ugh what’s next?

  5. CarlyinCanada says:

Watch your dates & what the airfare will cost! I prefer to book with a registered Ontario travel agent!

  6. samplegurl says:

looks like the Real resorts did they change their name?

  7. Heather says:

Ive been to a timeshare presentation, with no intent to buy but seemed interested, collected info. My vaca was great! I heard if you completely turn them down right away your experience might not be so great though

  8. DAVIEBOY says:

These people slither around the car rental offices at the Cancun airport trying to suck in unsuspecting first time Cancun vacationers.

  9. Islandgirl says:

We have been to many timeshare presentations and we love them!!! We have received tons of free stuff including vacations to come back and stay so we could really see what the place was like, show tickets, GC’s for restaurants, snorkelling tours….needless to say they are worth the time for us. Just don’t spend your whole day at the presentation!

  10. Bytown says:

Timeshare presentations scams rank right up there with lobotomies, vasectomies and root canal.
There’s being frugal then there’s being outright cheap. Not my idea of precious time well spent during a vacation from a hard days work the rest of the year.

  11. wifegriz says:

OK, so then I must be outright cheap and proud of it!

When I was in Florida (on a vacation that I totally paid for) I spent 2 hours at a presentation and in return I received $50 CASH (that I spent on a free casino dinner cruise) and a $25 gift certificate at an upscale restaurant. I just made sure that I did not take my credit cards with me to the presentation.

I would do it again in a heart beat. Not sure if I would base my whole vacation and accept free accommodation in return for attend the presentation though.

  12. benji says:

I’m not impressed with a “Sponsored ad” either. 🙁

  13. Amanda says:

Just an FYI.. It seemed almost too good to be true, so I did look into their terms. Besides the 90 minute presentation, there are stipulations with age and household income. As well, if you’re divorced/single, you’re not able to bring a girlfriend/boyfriend. While it still may be worth it to some, just check into those terms before getting yourself into this.

I have actually been to LOTS of timeshare presentations, and made alot of $$$ off of them, as well as earning lots of tickets to shows, dinner theatre, etc. I have purchased 3 timeshares over a 20 year period, and LOVE timeshares. If you are a family that likes to vacation, it is the way to go. I’ve never been to the ones in Mexico, but if I did go I wouldn’t mind spending 1/12 hours to get a cheap vacation! I only had a few bad experiences with a few tours, so the good always outweighs the bad. All you need to do is not take a credit card like wifegriz says, and wait your 90 min and tell them no, and stick to your no answer.

  15. Sally says:

bah it helps pay Sc’s bills and you dont like sponsored ads just skip over them lol!

  16. Thanks for discussing our product. Seems our offer and our low price pulls a lot of attention.

It makes me sad to read people comparing us to these guys in the airport of Cancun that offer you tons of free stuff to get you into a presentation. These guys really damage the image of our industry.

We don´t make any money on this offer thats right, but we don´t loose any either – and that is the difference to these guys in the airport. So in case you visit us in Cancun Mexico, you won´t feel any pressure to buy. You are our guests and we are happy to have you stay with us.
