Have a penchant for designer duds, but hate paying all the customs/taxes involved when ordering from a US site? Well, do I have a solution for you!
Check out Ssense.com. They operate/ship from Montreal, so although you pay the Canadian taxes, you do not have to deal with customs &/or all those annoying brokerage fees for your parcel, or as I like to call it, “ransom”.
Some brands that you will find on Ssense includes: Alexander Wang, Canada Goose, Elizabeth & James, Marc by Marc Jacobs, to name a few.
I’ve personally ordered from them once and had absolutely no problems. Returns were also easy-breezy.
Right now, ssense is having their Summer Sale on their Spring styles with up to 70% off!

If you order from an online store and the item you are purchasing was made in the US, you will never be charged customs/brokerage fees. The only taxes you are required to pay are HST/GST. If you order something from a US online store but the product is made elsewhere (ie. UGGS), then you will be subject to paying customs/brokerage fees. Great post!! This store looks great!!
Good Lord, feed those models!
But what is made in the USA or Canada, nothing.
J Brand Houlihans on “sale” for $227? That’s regular price at Holt Renfrew.
They have fantastic stuff though. Thanks!
The majority of items are viewed by customs as US products if the headquarters for that company is in the US, regardless of where the product originated. I have never paid customs fees/duty/brokerage fees on anything and I shop online all the time.
