it says valid only in the US?

  4. Missy says:

does anyone know the expiry date ?

  5. Oli says:

    Why I’m still at processing?

I had no problems getting this deal… so To answer all the above queries and misinterpretations:

I clicked the link in the post, and it went straight to the offer.

It’s valid in Canada.. in fact it says “valid in Canada only, RIGHT on the offer page).

I ordered it, processed it (processing took about a half hour for some reason) and followed the simple “redemption” instructions. This was my first Groupon purchase, so having never done one before it was fairly straight forward.

I already have the Starbucks $10 and I already merged it with m current Starbucks card balance.

The Expiry date of this offer is the end of today (there is a countdown clock on the offer page).
The Expiry date of the groupon voucher itself (after purchased) is posted on the offer page: Dec.31.2014 — but this applies ONLY to the groupon voucher. Once you redeem the voucher and get the Starbucks $10 balance, that never expires.

Processing (for me) took up to a half hour.

All these questions are answered on the offer page (except the processing time).

Oli – me too! Mine just says “Processing” and it’s been frozen like that for a while. Looks like they are getting bombarded with people wanting in on this deal. When I try to buy another one, it says I have already bought one so hopefully the status will change soon.

  8. Kary says:

Thank you so much for posting! I always look forward to these deals 🙂

Mine is “processing” too, but I’m sure it’ll go through!

  9. Sandra5 says:

    Thanks for posting!

  10. Kary says:

Hmm.. I got the error code “269087342” 🙁 I’m thinking it might have something to do with the fact that I just made a new account…. Anyone know why?

  11. Sandra5 says:

My request took about 10 minutes to process, went through at 6:02 pm. I had a pre-existing account. Not sure why you got an error code, Kary, you might contact Groupon directly to find out why.

    I have a Starbucks account,and have a registered card,that I transfered the $10 to.I always get this deal,when one is available..

  13. BHL says:

Mine was a new account, and I had no issues. I’ve never used Groupon before today.

  14. whatupj says:

interesting tidbit: i bought one canadian voucher and one american (for trips/travel) and when i added the US one to my starbucks app, it just converted the 10$USD to 10.86$CAD and accepted it on my app.

And something to note: I’ve used my Starbucks card app in the US… it works just like it does here. and have never been charged exchange.

  15. Kate says:

I got mine yesterday – thanks very much!! it did take a little longer than usual to go through Groupon, but I got it and transferred to my existing Starbucks card no problem. This is a great deal!
