Starbucks Canada: Christmas Blend 1lb for 25% off (Dec 12 only)

Starbucks has had a special everyday for their “12 days of Wishing” promo, this included reduced prices on mugs, tumblers and stuff. Today’s special is the last one, and a great one!

Some confusion on what the deal will actually be in Canada though, I have read that it’s $7.95 for the 1lb bag (hence the picture), however that is probably the US sale and the US price, so keep that in mind if you go tomorrow.

I have bought the Christmas blend already this season and love this blend. I can’t remember exactly how much it is normally, on the Starbucks US site it shows it as $12.95. It is described as a “unique blend of beans that makes this coffee such a fitting accompaniment for your holiday taste traditions. Our Christmas Blend is sweet and spicy, with a flavor derived from bright, sparkling Latin American coffees and smooth, full-bodied Asia/Pacific beans. But it’s the Aged Sumatran beans, carefully held for 3 to 5 years before roasting, that give it that delicious signature spicy taste.”

UPDATE: I just saw the Starbucks update on the Facebook group, and it says this “The last day of the 12days of Wishing is a really good deal: Get 1lb of Christmas Blend for $7.95US & 25% off in Canada

So if it sells for $17.95 in Canada, that would make it.. $4.48 off…. so it would be like $13.47. Would of been nice to have it for $7.95. 🙁 Sorry guys, I got a little too excited about this one, it’s still a savings but not as good as the US is getting.

Thanks to Chuck71 for sharing this offer with us!

I have a feeling that $7.95 is the US price. The CDN price for 1 lb of the Christmas Blend is $17.95 when I checked it out a couple of weeks ago. A $10 savings is way too generous for Starbucks to offer.

My guess? Stores up here will be selling it for $12.95 for a competitive $5 savings like the folks across the border.

Can the first person to head to a Canadian Starbucks confirm the true deal, if I don’t head there first?

I agree with you that it’s the US price. But if it’s even $9.95 that would be awesome. I buy it at regular price and don’t mind it cause it’s pretty good and only available around Christmas.

I will confirm and post here once I go later today.

A savings is a savings. It’s still better than nothing right? 🙂

  4. Cheryl says:

Yeah, I just confirmed the 25% off too.

They have the larger 1.6 kg bag that sells normally for $24.95, and with 25% off it’s like getting about 1/2 lb free.

Keeps me wondering why there’s still such a discrepancy between US and CAN pricing when the dollar has been so close for a while!

I know cheryl I wrote that on the facebook group and people just bashed me out, oh well it’s true. our drinks are more expensive and the specials are NOT the same, not fair, it’s only one day too, they should of made it equal. oh well.

Just went to the starbucks here in montreal and they didn’t know anything about this 25% off deal!?? Couldn’t prove to them where I heard of the deal if it’s really true, so that sucked.

I was in Starbucks today and bought the coffee.I actually got it free with money back rewards, that the Starbucks credit card credits when you make purchases. The 1Lb bags were 13.46 total. The store had a special display with the coffee and 25% price highlighted for customers to see.The Christmas blend is my favourite blend.

This is a greater deal if you know someone who works at Starbucks and can give you an additional 30% off 😉

    Rocco,

There are different size stores and apparently not all of them participate in the 12 Days thing. I don’t know why, I would think the smaller stores would WANT to participate since they don’t normally sell as much as the larger stores and this would help them out.

I was told to go down the street to a different store when I went looking for one of the previous deals for VIA.
