how do you get a star bucks card?

  2. Infonut says:

Thanks for the info I didn’t know Starbucks had a rewards program. From what I saw on the website, it looks like you have to go into the store and purchase a card like you do at Tim Horton’s.
Ooops! you can order one on line. http://www.starbucks.com/card/buyacard_style.asp

After doing through pages of forms I find out they only take VISA or Mastercard BOO! When will more places start taking INTERACT or PayPal?
You might want to choose the RED card and have Starbucks make donations to help save lives in Africa.

    RED CARD DETAILS

Do something good every day in 2009.
Every time you use your (STARBUCKS)RED Card to pay for purchases at participating Starbucks stores between 1/3/09 and 12/31/09, we’ll donate 5 cents to the Global Fund to help save lives in Africa.

it’s just a gift card; you can register it online at starbucks.com/card

  4. P says:

No need to print out coupon. Just bring in your registered starbucks card.

Typical, not valid in New Brunswick 🙁

  6. Roxy says:

Without trying to read too much into it, it looks like they hope you will purchase something in order to get your free drink if you look at the fine print of the coupon (“must pay with a registered card”). I registered my card (it has .86 left on it) and try to get the free drink without any additional purchase.

  7. H8Boo says:

Yeah, Boo is fairly good at putting non-coupons online so people will waste paper and ink for no good reason. And it’s not Boo’s first time.

  8. Annia says:

Anyone know how they enforce the one per person per day limit?

  9. Marciem says:

I work at Starbucks. We have a just say yes policy. You could probably get the free Iced coffee without registered card or printed coupon just ask. I bet You would have a 50% chance of getting it without presenting a card or coupon. Just say I heard it was free iced coffee day today, can I try one. As for one per day as long as you go to different Starbucks you should be all good.

  10. Roxy says:

Well, at least it was free. I won’t be paying for one in the future. And she DID ask for my Starbucks Card.

  11. peggy says:

My hubbie and I just got ours! Yumm!

  12. Gena's mom says:

i love their blended coffee ,but hate their drip coffee..it’s too strong. just wondering if this iced coffee is bitter?

  13. Sandy says:

well, went in to buy a gift card. asked for the free coffee. was told that i had to come back after i had registered my card and i must bring in the coupon. not worth the gas to go back.

  14. gena's mom says:

i just went there with my registered card.was told to bring the “email” as there’s code to punch in!..yes doesn’t worth my gas to go back

  15. clarebear says:

I went– they asked if I had the email and when I said ‘no’ in a surprised tone he asked if I had my card and I said yes.. then I got a free one but they were kinda rude.. It doesn’t say anywhere on the email that you have to print it out and bring it in. Also– I noticed in my parents’ apartment building in the recycling bin where all the flyers go there were little one pager flyers from Starbucks offering a free iced coffee you just need to bring in the flyer any day of the summer.. so keep your eyes open!

  16. Marciem says:

Dang I would have just said yes! sorry for all the rudeness ya’ll!

  17. Jenny says:

It all makes sense now. No wonder why they didn’t charge me when i purchased a tall iced coffee. I also happened to use my starbucks card because I wanted soy. If I didn’t know, I would’ve just paid cash for the drink. LUCKY ME 🙂

I would like to show some appreciation to the writer for bailing me out of this situation. Because of checking throughout the world-wide-web and obtaining proposals that were not pleasant, I thought my entire life was over. Being alive without the answers to the problems you have sorted out through your good website is a crucial case, and those that could have negatively affected my entire career if I had not discovered your web page. Your actual training and kindness in handling the whole thing was helpful. I am not sure what I would have done if I had not come upon such a solution like this. I’m able to at this point relish my future. Thank you very much for your impressive and amazing help. I will not be reluctant to suggest your blog post to anybody who needs to have counselling on this issue.
