I don’t have a VISA .. do I absolutely need one to do this? Can anyone confirm?
It sounds like such a good deal, and so sweet!

  2. jayco says:

you dont have a Visa or dont have a credit card? you need to input a credit card (visa, MC, amex, discover)

  3. Michael says:

The Starbucks website doesn’t mention anything about receiving a $5 ecard in return for sending one. So this is simply a nice way to gift a drink, with nothing in return, right?

  4. SuzyQ says:

Well you’re essentially buying a $5 gift card for someone else, then you get $5 as a gift. So you’re going to have to have a credit card to pay for the initial $5.

  5. Sandra5 says:

I’ve looked through this a few times. No where does it say that you get a $5egift from Starbucks for sending $5 to a friend.
This is just a new way to send an egift to a friend: by tweeting it. It will cost you $5.

  6. sheilad58 says:

The first time this was posted back in October there was a free card. No mention of it this time.

  7. Josi says:

Tweeted a coffee to the hubby and didn’t get $5 in return. Note to the author: can you identify your source?
