Target Liquidation Sales Start Today

Target ClosingTarget’s liquidation sale has started, with up to 30% off many items in the store.

Some of the sales from people who visited my local store (they may be different elsewhere)

  • Electronics 10%
  • Makeup – 10-30% (some of the 30% items were previously on clearance at 50-70%)
  • Fitness items 20%
  • Toys – up to 30% (many were cheaper on clearance previously)
  • Clothing 20% (adults) 30% (children)

Some people asked if they would be accepting RedCard and they are, but all sales are final with no returns so make sure you try on clothing before buying.  Fixtures are also on sale, you need to find a fixture manager.  Display items do not seem to be on sale (yet) and staff cannot mark items down further as prices have been set by the liquidators.

Canadians should not buy anything at Target. They have been taking us for a fool from the start. The prices in Target Canada have always been high even when the loonie was stronger than the greenback.

DO NOT BUY AT TARGET SALE

That’s the same for any american store in canada, you have to factor in duties as well, and the dollar fluctuates, they can’t be changing prices constantly.

Went this morning and what an absolute waste of time. They increased the prices for the so called “liquidation” sale today, and then most things were only 10% off. What an absolute disgust. So much for “Black Friday” like sales. I never really shopped here before, but a friend asked me to go here with her this morning. Even she was thinking what a joke.

Just went there this morning. Came out empty handed as usual. Was quite disappointed because the discounts weren’t that great, considering their regular prices are already a bit high.

Went there today and agree – complete waste of time! Super high prices, only 10-20% discounts, it really was a joke! I can’t believe they’re calling this a liquidation sale. It’s true – they must think we’re really stupid.

Calgary this morning. What a zoo. Was like Christmas. Shawnessy. NO parking, NO buggies – folks were standing in line for buggies. 10% discounts…. wow. People there must be nuts-o. NOT one thing seemed like a deal, but counter that with the fact that the line for cashing out went the full width of the store, then down front to back, then along half of the back width. All this to save 60¢ on one towel (I was *going* to buy 6 of them)…..hmm, NOT But it seems like a lot of Calgary folks think they’re cleaning up. Not this one 🙂
