TD Canada is offering a $25 statement credit when you active the mobile payment app on your Android or Blackberry smart phone. This is an easy way to grab a free $25 credit, but to also start shopping in a convenient mode that suits your on-the-go lifestyle.
To register, all you have to do is go to either the Google PlayStore, for Android users, or the BlackBerry World Store, for all other BlackBerry users. The phone’s that qualify for this deal are as follows:
- Blackberry 9900
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy Note 2
- Samsung Galaxy S4
- Samsung Galaxy Note 3
- Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
- HTC One
- and the Samsung Galaxy S5
And for those concerned about security, TD Mobile Payment uses advanced encryption technology to ensure your credit card is always protected, plus for additional safety measures, you can go into the Security Settings of the app and set-up a passcode for accessing the app.
TD Mobile Payment must be registered and a purchase must be made before December 31st, 2014 to receive the $25 statement credit.

Payment system uses NFC. iPhone has restricted NFC that is used for Apple Pay only, it cannot be accessed by developers.
Perhaps research information before assuming TD is at fault.
Mine won’t work, as I am on Virgin Mobile. The service only works for Bell, TELUS and Rogers. I thought since Virgin is on Bell networks it would qualify, but the app still wouldn’t work 🙁
