The two accounts eligible for this promotion are:

Will each bank branch state how many small deposit boxes are available at the outset of this promotion? I know for larger boxes, YMMV in getting one at the local branch.
The terms will appeal to people who have the financial means to pay the monthly fees or follow terms in order to get the tablet offer.
Otherwise, this promo is quite a hook to pull in new clients. Also remember that you won’t be able to claim your box fee on your 2014 income tax return if the box is used for investment paper storage. 2013 was the last year to make the claim.
Is there a minimum period that the account has to be open for? I cannot find anything about that on their website.
