Free has never felt so good, and those words take on a whole new meaning when you’re a student learning how to pinch every penny to pay for your tuition, rent and (necessary) morning coffee. Telus Canada is making one of those first year expenses a bit of a lighter load to bear, as they are offering 12 month 2017 internet plans for students for as low as $33/month. Plus, you’ll receive a FREE $50 prepaid Visa card when you buy any one of the three student plans available.
There are three student internet plans available, all of which will be guaranteed at the listed price for the first 12 months. You will receive your prepaid Visa card within 15-30 days of installing your internet, too. But, to receive the Visa card, you will also have to proof upon purchase that you are both a student and a new customer (as this offer is only available to new customers).
The plans are broken down as such:
Internet 25:
- $33 per month
- 25 Mbps download speed
- 300 GB monthly data (in Netflix equivalents, that’s 100 hours of streaming)
Internet 50:
- $40 per month
- 50 Mbps download speed
- 450 GB monthly data
Internet 150:
- $49 per month
- 150 Mbps upload and download speeds for ultra-fast streaming
- 1 TB monthly data
All of these plans will include the $50 prepaid Visa card.
