Just got this in my email! The Body Shop’s Back to School Survival Kit: Choose 5 for $30 on select items from August 6-13, 2010. Here are the details of this sale:

Customers must choose 5 of the following products to qualify for the $30 offer: Oval Hair Brush, Tea Tree Face Wash, Tea Tree Foaming Face Wash, Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes, Tea Tree Toner, Tea Tree Face Moisturiser, Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion, Tea Tree Face Mask, Tea Tree Face Oil, Tea Tree Blemish Stick, Tea Tree Cover Sticks, Tea Tree Body Wash, Tea Tree Exfoliating Face Wash, Home Fragrance Room Sprays, 400ml Shower Gels, 30ml Hemp Hand Protector, Deo Dry Sticks, Deo Dry Roll On, 125ml Maca Root Shave Cream, Energy Pulse Point Balm, Delipscious Lip Colour, Rainforest Hair 250ml Shampoos and Rainforest Hair 250ml Conditioners, Men’s Hair and Body Washes, Vanilla Shower Cream, Moroccan Rose Shower Gel, Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower Gel, Love Etc…™ Shower Gel, 250ml White Musk Silk Shower Gel, Blueberry Body Butter, Raspberry Body Butter, Coconut Shimmer Body Butter. The offer excludes applicable taxes and cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or other offers other than Love Your Body™ Membership Discount, Student ID Discount, and Sign the Petition Discount. If products purchased during the offer are returned, such items will be refunded at the discounted sale price. Multiple groupings of 5 products will be broken into separate transactions. The offer is subject to change and is valid while supplies last. Offer valid in US, Canada and Mexico The Body Shop® stores. Offer not valid online.

Though the sale doesn’t apply to the entire store (like the 3 for $30 promo), there’s still a good selection of items there. The Tea Tree Oil line is really great, and the Japanese Cherry Blossom and Love Etc. shower gel smell fantastic. These would also go great in a gift basket or as a birthday present.

I’ve been wanting to try more of the teatree products. I’ve got the toner and i like it. It smells kinda funky though. $5 each is more affordable and i got a sample of coconut body butter last time and I loved it. YUM!

  3. mlongboat says:

nevermind my poor math skills. $6 each

I was at the Body Shop at Vaughan Mills during lunchtime and they did not have the sale on yet – still Buy 3 Get 2 Free deal. 🙁

  5. amymichelle2 says:

The deal isn’t in the Bay Center either in Victoria

  6. mznatural says:

I just bought five great items from the Body Shop location at the Bramalea City Centre in Brampton. This by far is one great fabo deal…

  7. FunkyMunky says:

I don’t like the Tea Tree stuff at all – it’s supposed to be for troublesome skin, but not only it smells pretty godawful, it dried out my oily skin :\
returned and exchange the whole line not so long ago.. Aloe line seems to be a much better choice

I was just in The Body Shop today and they didn’t have this promo on! Maybe my location is a little behind in their promo’s…

you could also combine this sale with the coupon on page 182 of the Lou Lou magazine for a free Pep Up Your Feet kit (worth $35, with a 250ml bottle of Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion, Moisture Booties, and a Foot File when you spend $20 or more in store.

nope, it says “The offer excludes applicable taxes and cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or other offers other than Love Your Body™ Membership Discount, Student ID Discount, and Sign the Petition Discount.”

Love the tea tree, cleared up my occasional breakouts like nothing else would!

  12. FunkyMunky says:

went yesterday to Bloor street loc., not much of a choice for 5 products so just bought 2 rasberry butters for $20 ($10 each), since they are my fave and they only bring them out rarely, like during Xmas time

  13. Yan says:

I went today to buy the Tea Tree line!!
    I saved 39 dollars 😀

But the downside it you can only buy one of each item… no stocking up but it’s still amazing

  14. Hungryhippo says:

Went today, used the spc card too to save $5 when you spend $20 🙂 got a lot from the tea tree oil line. i’m so stocked up 🙂

  15. Ivan says:

I was able to buy 5 of the same tea tree product in Oakville location. There was no ad for this promo anywhere though. I had to ask the cashier. Not sure if this promo is supposed to be valid for 5 of the same product, as the cashier ended up having to override each individual one.

  16. stuffedpandapuppet says:

Lucky you Hungryhippo, I tried to use my SPC and/or my Love Your Body discount, and the associate said the SPC is only on regular price items, which it doesn’t say! Oh well, no point in arguing. Got some Tea Tree Oil items, the Delipcious lip colour, and coconut shower cream. My location had the skin care tester sets for $12! A nice deal also, because then I spent over $35 and got the Pep up your feet kit free.
